Teen Tools Resource

“it's ALL GOOD to ask for help”

Teen Tools is a collaborative project with Safer Communities (Tauranga City Council). It is part of a wider project which includes a 'Parent Pack' booklet available to parents, caregivers, and whānanu, with detailed information on how best to support rangatahi in their teenage years, discussing a range of hot topics.

'it's ALL GOOD to ask for help' is a pocket resource for rangatahi, listing contact information for confidential help for youth available in Tauranga Moana and the wider Bay of  Plenty area. Contact information includes; mental health, sexual health, addiction, legal, cultural, disability, family violence, and personal development ect.

This resource has been widely distributed through Tauranga Moana and the wider Bay of Plenty over this past year. There has been a large request for this resource – TYDT are currently in the process of updating all the contact details, adding new services, ready to reprint.
